I was actually off from work today and my English class got canceled!! Great news huh?!

Day 95

Hey guys.
What's up?

Sorry it took so long to get to this next post...I got extremely busy with work and with school. Plus I also was dealing/stressing over some issues concerning lcu.
But no worries haha. Everythings a ok now.

My registration date changed to this coming friday instead of the friday that just happened. Wanna know why?

The reason my registration changed was because well...I changed my mind. I decided...to go study for early childhood education instead of going into secondary education. I've been doing alot of thinking lately over it and well...since I started working at the elementary schools, I found that I really love working with kids. I've always liked kids and what not, and people always tell me that I'm great with kids too. Soooo. I thought long and hard and finally came to the conclusion that I want to work with kids more and stuff than work in just one specific area at the highschool level. So what do you think? Good idea right? I thought so haha and since I've told just about everyone I know about this, I've been getting some good feedback to it. Sooooooo.....Woohoo!!!! :D

Now...

Finals are coming up...drat. I need to start studying more for them and stuff, but once this semester finishes in May, I'll be so happy! :]

And!

I should have time to blog more!

I can't believe that I'm approaching day 100 of this thing lol.

Honestly, I really didn't expect to keep up with it past day 20....

And so I'm really proud of myself lol.

Day 85

Hello everyone

Wow has today been such a good day and it's only going to get better!
Started the day off pretty early and tired haha.
Went to the headstart fieldtrip! Boy did those kids love it lol. And so did I!!
I think there was about 130 kids there all together, if not more lol. So you can imagine how hectic it was! I also had a couple little girls decide to fall asleep on me on the drive back haha. Cute.

And then...

I had a nap!

Woohoo for naps! Because I rarely have them!

Now I'm listening to music and what not. Not doing this darn research paper. I guess I'll try to finish it tomorrow lol. Maybe.

And in about a half hour, I will be going to go watch Clash of the Titans!!!! :o :D
I'm pretty pumped up for it!!

Oh!

Did I mention that there were some change of plans for warped tour this summer??!?!?!
Well now you know! Turns out that we're not going to the one in Dallas lol. It sold out there :( But! We are totally going to the one on June 30th in Las Cruces, New Mexico!!!! SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so stoked for this!

Plus another interesting thing to add...

Next Friday, I will be going to LCU to register for my classes in the fall!!!! :o

Well hello there everyone haha.

Today is Tuesday!! Whoohoo!!
So i have some information concerning the post about my friend ticking me off and what not. Just so everyone knows, it's all good now lol. So yeah. Thanks for all the lovely comments and such :) they really helped. And to clarify, I choose not to take sides on that argument. The main reason I agree with "Someone who knows more than the other people who commented on this" or whatever their name lol, is because they actually understood where I'm coming from. I'm not saying that I didnt appriciate or didnt like the other peoples comments, because I did lol. For real. I liked all the feedback, and to be honest, I think that that post had the most response from everyone. Which deserves an A+ lol. I did however not understand where people kept telling me to look at myself? Like...what exactly do you mean? Look at myself? What did that have to do with the situation itself? I didn't think that I had to look at myself to fix the problem, I really didnt. But if I'm wrong, please go into some more detail on this post about that. I would love to hear some more feedback lol. And also. To clarify again: I was not being nosy or butting into their own problems. The only reason i got involed in all this was because they are both my friends. And they both tell me almost everything...sooo yeah lol. I just got caught in the middle...somehow? haha.

But anyways.

Hey guys.

I'm surprised i actually got on and had the time to right this post lol. considering that usually it takes 10 days for me to realize i need to blog haha.

Anyways.

Today's been going good. Saturday's are usually pretty chill. I decided to finish the rest of my online class today, because i really didnt feel like doing it ALL yesterday ha.

So i had 1 comment on yesterday's post. Good one too. I replied and what not, and I really do think I'm getting over this incident which rocks!

Last night was waaaayyyy fun :) I hung out with some friends til about 4am and wow, was it way hilarious lol. I also met some new friends and found out that they're way cool. Jenny and Kellay haha.

Well I'm about to go buy yet another Itunes card to download some more music. God it's so addicting :l

I'm listening to Isles & Glaciers and you know what? Their EP is really good lol. So now I'm gonna download it and see what other music i can buy :)

Umm...

Quick question: Has anyone read "A Separate Peace"?? I have it and have read a couple chapters, but i havent been able to finish it. I just want to know if it's all what it's cracked up to be lol. So i can take the time to finish it :)

Hello there.

Well TGIF....but not really haha. Friday's tend to suck for me....wanna know why?
Because my stupid online class...that's why. I usually tend to forget about it til fridays, and then i start on it. And btw...its horrible lol.

But anyways...first week back from spring break...was pretty much just like any other week...don't know why i was making such a big deal about it lol. but whatever.

Yesterday's post was kind random...actually really random and kinda fast paced because i was working lol.

Well....I wont go into great detail about the matter, but I will give you some info k.

Here goes.

This week...

Pretty much found out that the MAN-uel doesn't apply to all guys lol. I had a really good friend, probably my best friend you could say, choose a damn skank over his own friend. Now this isn't me, just saying lol, but back to the matter at hand. This person went and hooked up with one of our fellow friend's ex. recent ex too. like a month? maybe less? And just so you know, we were all a pretty tight knit group of friends. like. yeah. pretty much. So this guy went and did that and didnt bother to tell my other friend about it. I havent even talked to him! wtf?! I mean...i thought i was his best friend and all...i figured he would at least let me know, but no...he didnt. And has ignored me for the past week. And you know what i have to say? F you! Now i realize this is quite dramatic and i probably sound homo or something, but im not lol. really.

So that's what's up.

Pretty lame dont ya think?

Sure sucks to lose a really close friend over some random skank, who in fact isnt all that great. like....yeah. i hate her. but whatever. That's girls and guys these days.
If i could t-bag them, i would. and. i would do the jump hump all over them.

Hey guys!
Once again I am apologizing for being so busy and not being able to blog!
My bad!

But anyways.
I realized that keeping up with this blog is way difficult. Some days I just get tired and lack the motivation to keep up with it. I think to myself "man...im tired..and i really dont feel like turning on my laptop to blog..."

Sorry guys!
I'm trying to break this bad habit, but give me some slack lol. It's way tough and I really do promise to try and keep up with it better!

So spring break was awesome. I hung out at home. Hanged out with friends and stuff. Went to some pretty sweet concerts. And played halo. That's about it really lol.

Oh!

I also made some pretty new friends that are awesome! and way cool lol!

Well college started back up.
fml.
I sure got used to sleeping in til 10am everday and stuff and now that i started working again it sucks. I wake up sooo tired and stuff and its probably because of the late night phone calls with friends, and halo til 2am that is causing this. The elementary kids are also nuts! Holy crap! They are sooo talkative this week and hyper lol. But theyre awesome and I shouldnt be complaining because i love my job.

Sidenote:

They seem to never run out of energy lol.
Odd? Nahh lol

But anyways.
I'm gonna get back to work.
I was on my lunch and felt that I had the time to blog lol.

sorry I haven't been blogging in the past ten days!
Midterms were crazy this week and I barely had time to study and get me time.

now I have a lot of other things planned for this week as well!

but since I'm off of work this week, I should be able to post new posts almost daily!

So a group of friends and I attended the emptiness tour. That was epic!

great way to start of the week haha. But anyways. Here's a list of what's going down this eventful week.

Stranded at the Drive-In is playing at this Haiti Relief in Borger March 20t! That's this coming saturday! So make sure you can go and check it out! Bernardo, Craig, Nolan, and I shall be there. I will be running the merch booth, sooo come and visit me! That'd be swell! Since the band is playing this pretty sick opportunity, that means practice, practice, practice! That's mainly what this week will be about, but it will pay off. And who knows, it could bring more opportunities for the band!

Hi haha.
Man has this week been long!! I'm so glad it's over lol.
I've been way busy with work and classes lately and I'm finally feeling it. Thank god that it's the weekend and I can relax :)
Nolan visited this weekend and we've hung out which was pretty cool.

Side note: chile was hit with an 8.8 earthquake :( prayers? Yes use them. And also pray for those contries affected by the tsunamis too.

Another side note: my good friend Bernardo's band is playing at a Haiti relief fund on march 20th in borger tx. So come check it out and show support for Haiti!! I'll be there! Running some merchant booths and stuff!

But anyways.
Probably gonna head to bed soon. I think I'm getting a shot tomorrow morning. No fun, but necessary.

Man has today been so crazy! Hold that thought...correction! This last couple of days have been crazy! Haha.

Well hello again haha.

Man was this weekend crazy! I had a blast in Lubbock and really wish I could have spent a week there. I can't get enough of the place!

I'm feeling way better today than I was yesterday which is really good. I'm working right now, my class is at lunch and I figured I'd do some blogging in my free time haha. Sweet right? But yeah, going back to work this morning was way tough. I still wanted to sleep more...a lot more haha. But I couldn't. Maybe I'll take an afternoon nap lol.

I have a pretty busy day today. I have to find my shot records and fill out some medical forms for LCU. Woo? OH. And I have to also get a shot for menengitis (probably spelt that wrong haha). I'm not looking forward to this shot at all. Did I mention that transferring to a private university is a pain? Well it is haha. Grrrr. But...I know I'm not the only one who has to deal with it...back to telling you what I'm doing today. Well I'm working on those med forms, then after that I plan on writing my critique paper for my english class. Two paragraphs are due tomorrow...and I have nothing written, or even a topic to write about. Oh well haha, I'm sure I'll figure something out and own this paper lol. That's really about all I'm doing today. Pretty dull huh? Yes. Oh, maybe I'll have time to get in on some halo? Maybe...

So yeah that's really about it. I'm pretty glad that i decided to start my blog back up again. It's sooo relieving to talk about this haha. And the comments are still coming! Woo! Keep it up lol. Well hello there everyone!! :D

How's it going? Good I hope for everyone!

I'm doing great now! these last couple of days have been stressful for me. Girl issues lol. But everythings good now, don't worry haha. One question I seem to keep asking myself is "Why do girls seem to play guys? And why do guys seem to play girls? Playing? Teases? Why is all of that even around and why does it have to affect me?" I've come to a conclusion, and I think I might just not like or attempt with girls for a good while haha. What do you think? Good idea or bad?

But enough about that stuff haha.

Did I mention that I'm in Lubbock right now? Nope. Didn't think i did. But Yea! Totally am lol. It's awesome haha. I love this town so much and spending it with my bros rocks!! I'm feeling way better than I did yesterday, so I decided to type a new post of my daily escapade haha.
Work today was very entertaining and I honestly think that I like my job more and more everytime I wok haha. Man this week needs to go by quick! Don't you agree?? I cannot wait til I hit up lcu this weekend. It's going to be a blast!!

So I have some very big news today!!

Today me and my good old friend Riley Woodruff hung out again! It's been like 9274748 years!!! But really only like 6 months haha. We caught up and stuff and man it sure does bring back memories of the good old days lol. I do have to say that catching up with an old friend is always great!! :D

Well hello there!

Today is February 15, 2010. Also, it's Presidents Day!! How great of a holiday is that? Ahahahaha. But back to blogging lol.

Not much going on today. Very dull day perhaps, but i plan on making the best of it. I'm pretty much way excited for this coming weekend because it's MasterFollies at LCU! Way stoked haha. But sadly if the weather doesn't cooperate with us, alex and I will be unable to attend :( But it's ok! Because I'm praying pretty hard that everything works out and we'll be able to go. I need to keep reading A Separate Peace, it's getting good and I hope I finish it soon lol.

Random thought: Shiny Toy Gun's first album is pretty good lol. Listening to it right now as I'm blogging ha. The techno really fits my mood right now and I think I might listen to Attack Attack! later lol.

Also.

March 12th will be an epic day! Totally going to see Alesana, A Skylit Drive, Of Mice & Men, The Word Alive, and We Came As Romans!!! I am also way stoked for this lol.

Warped tour 2010? YES!!! Also going to that this year. But thats farther down the road lol

On a side note: Gamer made my day yesterday lol. It had a scene where one of the gamers t-bagged another man after owning him with his BR. Greatness :)

Hello!! And happy Valentines Day!!! Now I realize that a lot of people are pretty positive or negative on this day.

I would like to say congrats to all the couples out there and I hope that they are having a great time! If you're not with a special someone, don't feel bad because I'm sure they're are tons of other people that are single too. If you're feeling all down and out, don't! It's ok! Valentines Day is just another holiday lol and I hope it doesn't get to you if you don't have a valentine. Personally I feel that this day is a little overrated. I just think that everyday should be romantic with couples, not just vday.

This year I am too, single and left with no valentine, but it's ok lol. I mean just because it's vday doesn't mean I'm (or anyone else who's single) is hopless. Love can happen any day it wants to. It's not going to be any different if it were to happen on Flag Day lol.

But yeah that's about it for today's post.

Might I add that I'm somewhat sick. My throat is killing me lol :(
but I'm sure I'll live so oh well. I hope everyone who's reading my blog likes that I started it back up haha.

Day 36

GAHHH!!!

Saturday's suck! Now I know what you're thinking, "Luis? Why would you say saturday's suck? They are the best day out of the week."
Well i say no to all of you!

The reason I'm all irate now is because i just finished working on my online class for this week. I have no time to work on it during the week and when saturday hits, I hit that up. Well. It hits me instead...

It's the worst class I've had in a lonnnnggg time and it really is starting to get to me. I find that the tests and quizzes are very easy. They really are, but the actual daily work is ridiculous!! My teacher really knows how to pile it on.

Well, I just thought about it. And I'm not going to let this class bring down my weekend! I realize that I am probably just saying this because I am finished with this dreadful class for the weeek, and you know what? Yes, I am just saying this. You should have seen me while i actually had to work on these assignments! I was flippin ticked! But now that it's over and all said and done with, I am very Happy!!! :D

So yeap.

Not exactly sure what my plans will be for this lovely, and might I say, sunny Saturday haha.

I started reading this new book called A Separate Peace this week. I do have to say that I am only 1 chapter in and already like it :) On this note: The book Slam by Nick Hornby is very very good as well! Random?! Maybe? Yes! I happened to buy Slam last February and read 144 pages of it. I liked it a lot, but for some reason I just never finished it haha. Well early this week, I found it on my bookshelf and was like, "Oh!? I never finished this! I should do that today!" And so i did! I read 176 pages of this book on Wednesday and finally finished it. Great book haha.

So now then.

Day 35. Part 2

Well as i am sitting here watching my class do work and stuff, i cant help but think that i really should keep up my blogging alot. Wow! Random Thought?!?!? YES!

So i just decided that i want to write a book!!!

I don't know what made this idea pop into my head, but it did!

Let's see...

Hmmm writing a book sure does sound like quite the challenge, but at the same time feels like an escape from everything :) Soooo....

I really dont know how im going to do this exactly? Hmm if anybody reading this knows the process of getting published and the whole book writing process, tell me!!!

I'm sure its difficult and what not, but heck! I've sort of kept up with this blog for a month...sorta....don't judge me for the random 20 days of nothing that i posted....

But back to the matter at hand.

This new book writing idea sure feels overwhelming!!! Man! HAHAHAHA

So yeap that's it for today, no more posts for this fine day. I've already posted 2!! And i have to start thinking about this book i apparently plan on writing! Excited? YES!

So lately i've been putting my blog to the side...I know i shouldnt have done this, but i did. Soooo....this post goes out to all the people who read my blog and hopefully will forgive me for slacking off. One of the main reasons as to why i've been slacking off with my blog is just because i got tired of noone really commenting on my posts. But with some thinking, and a comment that i just read today telling me to keep my blog going, i realized i really should keep it going. I mean i love to write, so why not? And now i see that i really don't need people to be reading it and commenting it. If you are a person who is leaving comments, that's great! I love the feedback! But if you're just a reader, then just keep reading haha. I remember i said that i didnt want my blog to turn into a fanbase, and i think at the beginning, i got really caught up in this idea. Once i saw that people were actually reading them and commenting, i hoped that my blog would get big somehow. But let's face the truth. That probably won't happen. So yes. This is my catch up blog haha. I'm not gonna promise daily posts, because keeping up with it daily is pretty tough. I will say this though: i promise at least 2-3 posts per week. I think this will help me keep up with it better :)

i haven't really thought about this too much and i probably shouldn't just because it's none of my business what goes on with other people.

I know i have my few motivators out there, and yes friends (the few i have) and family are among those, but what else drives people to do the things they do??

I guess the reason I'm getting at this is because i just wonder what if they had a different motivation? what then? would everything be the same? Would everything change? Would they have an impact on me somehow?

Crazy thought to think about haha but none the less, it's important.

So yea.

Day 6

K so today had been a tremendous day!!! No joke!

Started the day off bright and early at work lol. My class was really awesome! But I had a couple of boys who were just horrible! :( I think today was the stricktest I have ever gotten with kids. I didn't get mad at all my kids, just the boys that kept acting up and disrupting class. This one boy I had cried three times!! Wow right? He was only doing it to try and get his way in things, but I kept him in check. :)

so now we get to why today was so freaking great!!

I got home from work and finally recieved my acceptance letter to Lubbock Christian University!!!
Pretty amazing news!! I am so excited to finally start in august down there and glad that all my 16 credits from last semester transferred!!
Woohoo!!!!! :D

Day 5

So today has been such a great day! Work started off great and I had a blast with the kids. I also started my psychology class today and I really am excited about it!

As I'm sitting here, I can't help but think about who's reading these blogs I post. I mean I love the inputs I'm getting and I'm way surprised at how well this is doing. I honestly had low hopes for this, but now I'm excited about it! The comments again are swell and I'm trying to reply to each one individually but it's tough haha. So if I don't reply to your comment I'm soo sorry, and promise to soon!

Day 4-Continued.

So i totally realized that i was not finished blogging for the day. I went and hung out with Bernardo and we had some pretty deep conversations. I mostly brought up the topics, but we both talked about them for quite some time. These thoughts have been on my mind lately, and i really do feel that everyone will be able to connect to them in some way. Despite whether you agree with me or not, just take the chance to really think about these things. Please.

Here goes:

The topic we talked about were the good old days. And sure I'm only 18, but I'm referring to the days when we used to attend elementary school. The thought entered my head the other day while i was at work with my kindergarten class. I looked at them and thought, "What happened to those days? Where did our innocence go?" Looking back at those days i realized how simple things really were for all the students. We went to school, did our work, had all of our friends to play and talk with, and just enjoyed being a kid. What really got me thinking about this, was the fact that all the kids seemed to be really great friends. No joke. I saw my kindergarten class and saw how well they got along with each other. They help each other, they aren't really mean to one another (unless for some random reason) and they just make the most out of seeing and going to school with their friends. As far as i can remember elementary school was the best. The whole class and grade were all friends and just made things simple. I've subbed 5th grade too, and realize that the kids are the exact same way. They get along great with each other and are all friends.

So what happens? What makes us change from being the best of friends with everybody in our grade to enemies?

Middle School/Junior High

That's exactly what changes kids. I know that i never really started growing feelings of dislike towards other kids in my class til i hit middle school. The shift in these feelings almost occurs naturally and by itself. But why? Why must we go from all this pure and amazing innocence, to dislike and hate towards each other?

What really gets me most, is that I, as a substitute, am seeing this change before it even happens. This really gets to me. Today i saw two little girls from my class yesterday holding hands and walking down the hall and i thought to myself, "Will they still feel that way towards each other when they get to middle school? Or will they change like most of the kids tend to do?"

The thought of this really frightens me, but I know that there's not much i can do. I just hope that everything works out somehow and that someday kids will not lose their innocence and great friendships once they get to middle school. I hope that they can maintain those qualities.

So that's it.

Day 4

So to the blogging...

Today's been a great day! Work was extremely awesome and I had some awesome kids in my classes that I got to meet. I really am enjoying my new job a lot more than when I used to work at United! I'm working almost everyday now and that means more money! Woohoo!! :D

I started my second semester of college today as well. Went to one class and went over the syllabus. Yay? I was given a reading assignment over a play (30 pages) which is due Thursday. Luckily I took the time to read it and finished it an hour after class! Great play, but pretty depressing towards the end. In case you're wondering what the play's called, it's "Antigone".

So that's really all that happened today. Can't wait til tomorrow!

Day 3

Hello again. Well today's the third day of my blog. I've gotten two comments on my post from yesterday. I really like the advice that they've given to me. So keep up with the comments and inputs to my thoughts.

Work was stressful today, the kids were pretty rowdy and it took quite a bit of time to quiet them down. After work I had a headache and took a two hour nap. It felt great and I woke up in a way better mood. I started to think about what to blog and I finally came up with this:

The other day I got told by a person that I didn't talk to them at all. Well I apologized for it thinking that it was my fault. Well I promised the other person that I would text them more often because I felt bad. And to be honest, lately I feel like I'm losing friends because we don't communicate. So with this said, I texted that person. I figured that it would be cool to catch up on things and stuff. Well I waited all day and got no response. I figured that the person was busy and decided to text them the next day. I waited all day. No response. Well then that person messaged me and told me that I should text them sometime. WTF?! That makes no sense to me. I dislike when people tell me to do something and I do, but they don't reply. Am I wrong for this? You tell me.

So yeah, that's my thought for today. Inputs on this would be great!

Day 2- Jan. 10th

Well today's been a good day so far. I saw Avatar in 3D last night, and I was really amazed at how good it was. It's for sure in my top ten movies that I like. I'm pretty tired for some reason and am looking forward to working on Monday. Quick question: Is it bad that I'm still not over Jessica (girl who screwed me over really bad, probably the worst out of all the girls I've dated or did not date, even though we never dated...? I think so, but for some dang reason I'm not. Hmmmm hopefully I will be soon. Funny how life is ironic.

But anyways...

Second day of this blog haha. I wonder if anyone in the whole world has read this? Maybe? Not sure though. I would like to see what people think about this, but I don't want it to be a trend. Inputs and comments would be cool too.

First day blogging.

So today is the day I decided to actually go out and blog about all the random nonsense that goes through my head. I have blogged before, but never on an actual blog website. My intentions are simple. I do not wish to gain "a fanbase" because I really doubt anyone will really care about what I have to say. I have never had to actually keep up with a blog of my own and just hope to do so.

So here are my plans for this blog:

1. Keep up with this blog for 2010 and have daily updates for everyday of this year.
2. Be able to openly talk about everything that is going on in my head (and I mean everything).
